Set in a former Royal Burgh, North Berwick is a popular seaside town in Scotland and an ideal choice for retirement.  The town is found on the Firth of Forth, which boasts two beautiful sandy bays for those looking to explore the local landscape.  The waters of the Firth of Forth are rich in marine wildlife, including seals, dolphins and whales to name a few.

Other local natural attractions include Bass Rock, dubbed “one of the wildlife wonders of the world” by Sir David Attenborough.  The rock is a haven for birds and local wildlife; home to 150,000 gannets as well as puffins, guillemots, shags, and kittiwakes.  Regular wildlife cruises operate from the local harbour to let locals and visitors explore this diverse landscape.
